Information We Collect
NightGuard uses your device's microphone to monitor ambient sound levels while the app is active. Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time to detect sound levels — it is not recorded, stored, transmitted, or uploaded anywhere, including to the developer.

NightGuard does not require an account, and does not collect your name, email, or personal information to use the app's core features.

How We Use Microphone Access
Microphone access is used solely to measure ambient decibel levels and detect sounds above a threshold you set, in order to trigger an alarm. This processing happens locally on your device and is never sent to external servers.

Data Sharing
NightGuard does not sell, share, or transmit any user data to third parties, since no personal or audio data is collected or stored in the first place.

Purchases
If you purchase NightGuard through Google Play, your payment is processed by Google Play, not by the developer directly. The developer does not receive or store your payment details.

Children's Privacy
NightGuard is not directed at children and is not designed to collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
